We are in receipt of your letter dated informing us of the casualty loss suffered by the following goods: [Description of goods], which were the subject of our sales agreement dated [Date of sales agreement].
Please be advised that it is our intention, pursuant to [Citation of local enactment of UCC $ 2-613.b], to inspect the goods that remain with a view to determining the extent to which they are salvageable. On completion of this inspection, we will make a decision regarding the possible acceptance of the goods subject to due allowance against the price in adjustment of their changed condition or complete avoidance of the sales agreement.
